PATIENTS’ RIGHTS

  1. Right of access to medical care irrespective of caste, creed, religion & economic status.
  2. Right to be treated with respect and dignity.
  3. Right to have privacy and confidentiality of information & its disclosure to the family member if desired by the patient.
  4. Right of all confidential information in case of minor shall be provided to one of the parents/legal guardians.
  5. Right to have personal safety and protection from physical abuse and neglect.
  6. Right to know the identity and professional status of the care givers.
  7. Right to have information about diagnosis, treatment, care plan, progress and healthcare need.
  8. Right to know about dietary requirements and nutrition.
  9. Right to have informed consent before any invasive procedure, surgery, research trail and blood transfusion.
  10. Right to know about safety, dosage and potential side effects of medications.
  11. Right of participation in decision making, free access to second opinion on demand and right to refuse treatment after understanding available option & risks.

Instructions

You are being directed to CPGRAM website. You would be asked to Register with CPGRAM if not already registered. Registered users can login directly using their CPGRAM user ID and password.

  • 1. Login into CPGRAM
  • 2. In section "Grievance Detail" select "Others/Not Listed/Not Known"
  • 3. In the "Ministry/Department" Drop Down Select ESIC
  • 4. In "Subordinate Department/Office" select the Regional Office
  • 5. Provide details of the complaint
